Celebration Crackers to Heart and Soul Studio – the evolution story

Celebration Crackers is our legacy. It is where we have come from and will always be part of our company identity. Please allow us to explain how we went from Celebration Crackers to Heart and Soul Studio in our 45 years of operating.

From our inception in 1979, Celebration Crackers worked on building an esteemed reputation for high quality handrolled Christmas crackers. Starting in Devon as a husband and wife team, we moved to a Dorset base in 2007 with our Creative Director, Kim, navigating the way with design aesthetic and opulence. In 2009, with an eco-conscious focus, Kim spearheaded the introduction of the first Eco Kraft range into the cracker industry, something which we still make today. This is a style of cracker widely adopted by all cracker manufactures worldwide.

By 2014 we had crackers being stocked in the 6 major UK department stores. We are still stalwarts of the iconic Christmas displays in Harrods, Fortnum and Mason and Selfridges.

With an ever growing team and client base, Celebration Crackers decided to make it clear that we had the capability to design and manufacture more than just crackers. We there fore created Heart and Soul Studio.

Why this name?

We settled on Heart and Soul Studio because our heart and soul goes into all we do. And we are a design studio as well as a manufacturer. This all occurred in 2020 and opened our doors to clients wanting more than Christmas crackers.

We didn’t really scream and shout about it at the time. It coincided with the Covid 19 pandemic and it didn’t seem vitally important to publicise. However, we now acknowledge that we are still widely known as Celebration Crackers so it is helpful to provide this clarification for those we may not have crossed paths with in the last few years.

We are still a family business. With Kim and Sam at our helm, their daughter Aimee is our brand manager. With key members of the management team having served over 10 years in their positions, we have a wealth of experience in the business which we continue to develop, push and evolve.

Our products still carry the Celebration Crackers name and logo as it remains one of the brands within our repertoire. We also have Foxy – our range of fun filled child-centric crackers and games. We have a new brand in development which we hope to launch  in 2025.
